About the role
Datavant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help expand and improve its healthcare data collaboration platform. You will join a collaborative, mission‑driven team that builds secure, scalable solutions for providers, health plans, researchers, and life‑science companies.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver production‑ready full‑stack features using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript (React).
- Build and maintain high‑volume data pipelines and scalable APIs.
- Model, query, and optimize relational databases with SQL.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate across product, data, and infrastructure teams to solve complex healthcare data challenges.
Required profile
- 8+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes and lead technical projects.
- Strong collaborative mindset and effective communication across teams.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (optional).
