Senior Tax Specialist - Aviation

About the role

This position offers a newly qualified tax professional the chance to work within a leading international aviation business, gaining exposure to corporate tax compliance, reporting and transaction support across multiple jurisdictions. You will join a dynamic finance team and contribute to the tax function in a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support corporate tax compliance, reporting and filing obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax reporting, tax provisioning, reconciliations and financial statement disclosures.
• Monitor tax legislation and help implement regulatory changes.
• Assist with tax aspects of commercial transactions and leasing activities, collaborating with external advisers.
• Support tax audits, manage tax risk and drive process improvements within the tax function.
• Provide tax support to the wider finance team on ad‑hoc projects and business initiatives.

Required profile

• AITI qualified (ACA or ACCA qualification advantageous).
• 1‑8 years post‑qualified experience in corporate tax or tax advisory.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax compliance and tax accounting.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Exposure to aviation or international tax is desirable.
