Senior Windows System Engineer – M365 & Entra (12‑month contract)

About the role

Our client, a large enterprise organisation, is looking for a Senior Windows System Engineer on a 12‑month day‑rate contract. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting a complex Microsoft infrastructure across multiple tenants, ensuring secure identity management and modern workplace collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments across several enterprise tenants.
• Manage Entra ID (Azure AD) lifecycle, access governance and Conditional Access policies.
• Configure Microsoft Teams, including Enterprise Voice and collaboration services.
• Support Exchange Online, mail flow, tenant configuration and migration projects.
• Oversee endpoint management with Microsoft Intune, device compliance and configuration.
• Administer SharePoint Online and enforce platform governance.
• Develop PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation scripts.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on hybrid/on‑prem integrations and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior‑level experience in Microsoft infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Proven hands‑on expertise with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and large‑scale collaboration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of security, compliance and governance within Microsoft ecosystems.
• Ability to work independently in fast‑paced, highly regulated enterprise environments.
