Senior/Assistant Manager – Financial Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is seeking a Senior/Assistant Manager to join its Dublin (and Limerick) office. The role supports financial services clients with accounting, regulatory change and finance transformation projects, helping CFOs and finance teams navigate complex reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop solutions to complex technical accounting and regulatory issues.
• Stay current with industry, regulatory and accounting changes and proactively propose solutions.
• Collaborate with client financial and regulatory reporting teams to deliver insights and improve reporting processes.
• Lead delivery of technical support on ad‑hoc accounting and regulatory queries across service lines and regions.
• Assist clients with implementation of new accounting standards, GAAP conversions and regulatory changes.
• Plan, execute and deliver engagements involving large‑scale financial and accounting change or complex transactions.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, acting as primary contact for senior client leaders.
• Leverage technology to share knowledge and enhance service delivery.
• Build strong internal relationships across Assurance and other service lines.
