Site Agent – Construction Project Lead

About the role

Sisk is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead the delivery of a construction site from mobilisation through to completion. The role is the primary on‑site authority, responsible for safe, efficient and quality‑driven execution of all activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the site before launch and oversee full‑phase construction operations.
• Compile initial programme, set weekly targets and drive the project pace.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, foremen and site staff, delegating tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, quality and sustainability (HSEQS) protocols.
• Maintain quality control procedures and an up‑to‑date temporary works register.
• Monitor onsite energy and waste data and coordinate the sequence of activities.
• Lead daily whiteboard meetings and enforce incident protocols.
• Communicate site requirements to commercial teams and balance technical and commercial needs.
• Maintain contemporaneous documentation and an efficient registration system for site entry and exit.

Required profile

• Over 10 years of experience delivering construction projects across multiple sectors.
• Proven ability to lead medium to large‑scale projects and supervise subcontractors.
• Strong people‑management and decision‑making skills, calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of trades, codes of practice and site requirements.
