Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Site Engineer to join our civil infrastructure team in Mayo. This role offers an ambitious engineering professional the chance to develop their career while contributing to the successful delivery of major civil projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the safe, timely and cost‑effective delivery of civil engineering projects to required quality standards.
• Coordinate daily site activities with senior engineers, construction managers, foremen, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Carry out setting‑out, surveying, site measurements and quality inspections.
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to support project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) standards and company procedures.
• Support project planning, scheduling, progress reporting and maintain accurate site records.
• Monitor productivity, material usage and plant efficiency to aid cost control.
• Contribute to engineering innovation, continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar site engineering role.
• Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in Revit.
