Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

John Paul Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead Dublin‑based construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and monitor the site labour force and specialist subcontractors on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Assist the project team in tracking progress to meet agreed programme targets.
• Ensure works are delivered to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Collaborate with the supply chain and subcontractors to foster positive relationships and a strong on‑site culture.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of site management experience, preferably with a main contractor on large‑scale commercial, residential or mixed‑use developments.
• Third‑level qualification or a trades background with excellent knowledge of trades.
• Strong delegation and organisational abilities.
• Proven ability to work well within a team and collaborate with others.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
