Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of commercial and residential construction projects across Galway. You will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site activities from commencement through to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and on‑site teams to optimise project delivery.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Monitor progress, manage sequencing and maintain accurate site records.
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed and promote a strong safety culture.
• Conduct quality inspections and resolve technical or construction issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
• Experience delivering commercial and/or residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site management.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership abilities.
• Good understanding of health & safety regulations and quality standards.
• Relevant construction qualification preferred.
• Full driving licence.

Required skills

• Interpretation of construction drawings and specifications.

What we offer

• Salary range €70,000 – €85,000 depending on experience.
