Site Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading construction contractor delivering large‑scale, high‑value projects across Ireland and the UK, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team. The role will be based in Dublin West/Kildare and will involve overseeing multi‑million‑euro construction sites, ensuring safety, quality and programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and site procedures
• Manage site logistics, inductions, RAMS, and safety documentation
• Carry out site inspections and report incidents or safety concerns
• Maintain site records, QA/QC documentation, and daily diaries
• Monitor workmanship and manage quality issues
• Coordinate subcontractors and daily site operations
• Monitor project progress and short‑term programmes
• Identify delays and assist with recovery planning
• Support site coordination and stakeholder communication
• Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes
• Support cost control and maintain site documentation
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams

Required profile

• Construction‑related qualification
• 5–10+ years’ experience with a main contractor on large‑scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of site operations, health & safety and quality management
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and deliver projects to programme
