Site Manager

About the role

Techrete is seeking a Site Manager to support its construction teams across multiple sites in Ireland and the UK. You will act as the primary client contact on‑site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support safe, timely, and high‑quality delivery of projects in line with programme, budget and company standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Coordinate site plant, materials and subcontractor activities while keeping accurate records.
• Attend daily and weekly health & safety, progress and crane allocation meetings.
• Monitor work quality, provide progress updates and develop mitigation plans when needed.
• Identify opportunities for design, process and operational improvements.
• Maintain project documentation, health & safety records and reporting arrangements.
• Travel to sites across Ireland and the UK as required.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Experience in concrete or construction environments.
• Highly organised with exceptional time‑management abilities.
• Eligible to work in Ireland and the UK.

Required skills

• Safe Pass (Ireland) and CSCS (UK) certification.
• SMSTS certification.
• Manual handling certificate (or willingness to train).
• Familiarity with Trimble Connect, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Full driver’s licence with access to a vehicle.
