Site Manager

About the role

Conack is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a construction project in Westport, Ireland. You will take full ownership of site operations, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget while coordinating teams and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations from mobilisation through handover.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor progress, quality, and programme schedules to keep the project on track.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Resolve on‑site issues efficiently.
• Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in a Site Manager or equivalent role on Irish construction projects.
• Strong background in construction site management.
• Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors on‑site.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations in Ireland.
