Site Reliability Engineer – Engineering Productivity

About the role

Arista Networks is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join its Engineering Productivity (EngProd) team. You will help design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and fault‑tolerant tools and infrastructure that support the company’s rapidly expanding product development ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate critical production systems with emphasis on scalability, reliability, observability, performance, and security.
• Develop automation to eliminate toil and create proactive monitoring and alert‑handling workflows.
• Create and maintain incident‑response runbooks, triage platform issues, and produce post‑mortem documentation.
• Plan and communicate maintenance windows, coordinating with third‑party vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with product development teams to identify infrastructure bottlenecks and improve developer experience.
• Research, evaluate, and adopt best practices for infrastructure and platform engineering.

• Experience operating in hybrid‑cloud environments.
