Site Reliability Engineer - Multicloud Platform

About the role

Workday is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join its Multicloud Platform team. You will help ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the cloud‑native services that power Workday products across public clouds.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain platform reliability and meet defined SLAs and SLOs.
• Automate deployment pipelines and multi‑stage release processes with a follow‑the‑sun on‑call model.
• Develop and monitor SLIs, build observability architecture, and create runbook automation.
• Partner with service teams to define SRE standards, benchmarks, and automation for production readiness.
• Reduce operational toil by implementing cloud‑native tooling and best practices.

Required profile

• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role on cloud‑native platforms.
• Passion for troubleshooting production incidents and driving them to resolution.
• Comfort working in an agile, scrum‑based environment with two‑week sprints.
