Social Care Worker – Opportunities Across Ireland

About the role

Kats Recruitment is recruiting Social Care Workers for well-established private healthcare providers across Ireland. The role supports people with complex needs, fosters a protective environment and helps them recover and become more independent. It is a permanent full-time position with relocation required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients with conditions such as intellectual disabilities, autism and acquired brain injuries.
• Collaborate on clinical assessments and behaviour plans to support individual progress.
• Facilitate educational and social activities that promote independence and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation in line with regulatory standards.
• Foster a safe, protective and confidential environment for all clients.

Required profile

• At least 3 months of experience working with disabilities, autism or similar conditions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, or a Social Educator qualification.
• EU or UK passport holder only.
• Full manual driving licence.

What we offer

• Salary of €38,000 per year.
• Relocation package: flights reimbursed up to €300 and assistance with accommodation.
• Dedicated relocation coordinator to help with arrival and settling in.
• Full support for CORU registration; candidates are initially offered Direct Support Worker (DSW) roles while awaiting registration.
• Induction and ongoing professional training.
