About the role

AMD is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the future of AI and high‑performance computing. You will work on cutting‑edge machine‑learning operators, delivering scalable, high‑performance software for AMD products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and verify scalable, high‑performance solutions for existing and emerging ML operators on AMD hardware.
• Drive execution of software for new technology and product introduction projects.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver planning solutions and supporting technologies.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of future architectures for scalable, durable systems.
• Work as part of a high‑functioning feature team to achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in computer technologies and software engineering principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and scripting (Python, Shell).
• Experience with modern ML frameworks and intermediate representations such as ONNX, MLIR, PyTorch, CNNs, and LLMs.
• Knowledge of performance‑optimization techniques for ML workloads (operator fusion, quantization).
• Understanding of object‑oriented design, data structures, algorithms, operating‑system concepts, and multithreaded programming.
