Software Engineer – AI Infrastructure Startup

About the role

Join an AI infrastructure startup focused on building large‑scale AI deployment systems. You will work in a fast‑paced environment alongside seasoned engineers, contributing to core system development and customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and review software solutions across the stack.
• Collaborate with engineers to build and optimise core systems.
• Support customers through project scoping, proof‑of‑concept, early trials, and production escalation.
• Help shape company culture and influence the future direction of the startup.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities and quick learning in a collaborative startup setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, C, C++ or Rust.
• Solid understanding of systems software, including embedded and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (plus).
• Knowledge of networking OSes like SONiC, FBOSS, EOS, Cisco IOS, JunOS (bonus).
• Legal work authorization for Ireland.
