Software Engineer – Cloud & Full-Stack (Hybrid, Galway)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our high‑performing Enterprise API Platform team in Galway. The role involves working with modern cloud technologies, collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams, and delivering scalable, innovative solutions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Golang.
• Build responsive UI applications using Angular or React.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.
• Support and troubleshoot Kubernetes‑based deployments and environments.
• Configure monitoring, alerting, and highly available platform solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST API development, Golang and frontend development with Angular or React.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub and Artifactory.
• Proven ability to deploy applications to AWS or Azure and work with cloud‑native practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
