Software Engineer – Collaboration

About the role

Stripe is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Collaboration team, which builds internal tools that help Stripe employees work smarter and more efficiently. You will focus on creating innovative, GenAI‑powered experiences that boost productivity across a variety of tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross‑functional team of engineers to design, develop, and ship internal web applications.
• Own solutions from concept to production, handling complexity and stakeholder communication.
• Define success metrics, measure impact, and iterate based on quantitative and qualitative data.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, reliability, and product performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best engineering practices.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building rich web experiences with modern frameworks.
• Enjoy working across the full stack, from UI design to workflow automation and reliability.
• Comfortable engaging directly with users to solve real problems.
