Software Engineer II – Java & Cloud Microservices

About the role

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native microservices that power our insurance risk solutions. You will work in a collaborative environment, delivering scalable and resilient applications on Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud‑native microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for inter‑service communication.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Deploy and operate microservices on Azure Container Apps.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex microservice environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Azure.
• Hands‑on experience building and deploying microservices.
• Ability to design and document RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker, Dockerfiles, and Docker Compose.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals.
