Software Engineer III – Global Network Technology

About the role

Google Cloud is looking for a Software Engineer III to join the Global Network Technology team. You will work on large‑scale, full‑stack systems that power billions of users worldwide, collaborating across multiple product areas and contributing to next‑generation cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain production‑grade code for back‑end services (Java, Python, Golang, C++) and front‑end components (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Participate in design reviews, evaluate technology options, and influence architectural decisions.
• Review peer code, enforce best practices, and ensure testability, performance, and security.
• Document features, create educational content, and update documentation as products evolve.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve system issues affecting hardware, network, or service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience (or 1 year with an advanced degree).
• Full‑stack development experience across back‑end and front‑end technologies.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and accessible technology development.
