Software Engineer - M365 Copilot

About the role

Microsoft is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Office OMEX team and help shape the next generation of Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences across consumer and enterprise platforms. You will work on cross‑platform products using React Native and C++ to deliver innovative Office features for PCs, tablets, and phones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and release web client and service components that improve user experiences.
• Evolve development guidelines, practices, and principles for fast‑moving client and service delivery.
• Build resilient, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
• Apply a data‑driven approach to product decisions and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Proven experience designing, building, testing, and shipping software products.
