Sourcing Manager – Strategic Procurement

About the role

The Sourcing Manager will lead end‑to‑end sourcing initiatives, driving cost‑effective procurement of goods and services while ensuring high service levels. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage sourcing events from vendor engagement through evaluation and selection.
• Maintain cost competitiveness and service quality across assigned categories.
• Design and implement efficient transactional and strategic buying processes.
• Lead cost‑saving initiatives and track associated metrics.
• Develop and sustain relationships with major suppliers and industry analysts.
• Collaborate with business leaders and functional teams to ensure visibility and alignment.
• Formulate and monitor key performance indicators such as cost savings, quality, reliability and working‑capital efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business (required); Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of category management and strategic sourcing experience.
• At least 5 years managing medium to large global IT projects with financial impact.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and results‑orientation.

• Online sourcing platforms
• Financial modeling, including Total Cost of Ownership analysis
• Contract negotiation and knowledge of key contractual language
