SRE Operations Engineer – Dublin (3 days onsite)

About the role
We are hiring an SRE Operations Engineer for a global payments technology company operating in over 200 countries. Based in Dublin, the role combines production support, incident management and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure secure and scalable digital transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and resolve production incidents using Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Handle work orders, perform ad‑hoc testing and validation.
- Support incident, change and service‑request processes through ITSM tools.
- Coordinate with engineering teams on production issues and maintain Confluence documentation for recurring problems.
- Participate in shift‑based operations, including weekend coverage.
Required profile
- 5‑8 years of experience in production support, SRE or NOC environments.
- Strong Unix/Linux background.
- Excellent communication skills.
Required skills
- Python scripting.
- SQL experience with PostgreSQL or similar.
- Monitoring tools: Splunk, Dynatrace.
- ITSM tools: Remedy, Jira.
- Additional tools: WinSCP, CyberArk, PuTTY, Toad, Confluence.
