Staff Nurse – All Departments (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Hospital is seeking qualified Staff Nurses to work across all clinical areas. This full‑time permanent position offers the chance to deliver high‑quality patient care in a variety of specialties, from medical and surgical wards to emergency, operating theatre and intensive care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in line with professional standards and hospital policies.
• Provide holistic, patient‑centred care while maintaining privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
• Document patient information accurately and adhere to nursing documentation standards.
• Prioritise workload to ensure patient safety and effective care delivery.
• Report incidents, accidents or near‑misses to the Clinical Nurse Manager or Assistant Director of Nursing.
• Support the Theatre Department and, when required, coordinate patient care in the absence of the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Required profile

• Registered nurse qualified to practice in Ireland.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and ethical practice.
• Willingness to develop competencies across multiple clinical specialties.
