Staff Nurse – Hospital at Home Team

About the role

The Hospital at Home Team in Fife delivers acute medical care to frail elderly patients in their own homes, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and supporting early discharge. We are seeking a motivated Staff Nurse to join our Cupar‑based team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective acute medical care to patients in their homes.
• Deliver routine clinical interventions such as venepuncture, ECG, IV additives and cannulation.
• Respond promptly to urgent care needs and travel across the service area.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with cross‑team members as required.
• Cover flexible shifts over a 7‑day period, between 08:00 and 22:00.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to travel within the region.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to join the PVG Scheme.
