Structural Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our Dublin team, focusing on the design and optimisation of structural systems for data centres and industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop structural products, assemblies and fabricated steel structures using SolidWorks and CAD.
• Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, manufacturing documentation and bills of materials.
• Support the development of data‑center aisle containment systems, equipment support frames, security caging systems and custom engineered solutions.
• Perform structural calculations and engineering analysis to validate designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, project management and installation teams to ensure performance, cost and manufacturability targets are met.
• Assist in prototype development, testing, product validation and resolve production or field‑installation issues.
• Participate in design reviews, continuous‑improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Product Design Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of structural design experience in a manufacturing, construction or industrial products environment.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and 2D CAD software.
• Experience creating detailed engineering drawings and bills of materials.
