Subject Matter Expert – Neurodevelopmental Care (Short‑Term Advisory)

About the role

The project seeks a senior Subject Matter Expert to advise on neurodevelopmental care pathways and service improvement for a healthcare system in the GCC. The engagement is short‑term, primarily remote, with 1–2 weeks of on‑site travel.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing policies, pathways, and evidence related to neurodevelopmental care.
• Provide specialist advice on care models, multidisciplinary coordination and family‑centred approaches.
• Support the design of practical, evidence‑informed care pathways and referral processes.
• Contribute to assistive‑technology assessments and recommendations.
• Develop and benchmark pathway‑related KPIs.
• Participate in remote meetings, workshops and validation sessions.
• Attend selected in‑country workshops or stakeholder meetings in the GCC.
• Prepare written inputs for reports, presentations and technical deliverables.
• Collaborate with Aspen Medical’s project team and other advisers.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in neurodevelopmental care, child development, paediatrics or disability services.
• Background in clinical pathway design, care coordination or healthcare service planning.
• Experience with assistive‑technology assessment and KPI development.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
