Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure our global supply base consistently delivers components and assemblies that meet strict electrical, mechanical and regulatory requirements for our Low Voltage Switchgear and PDU product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Define supplier needs, expectations and risk profiles; manage supplier selection and the approved vendor list.
• Establish Service Level Agreements and contingency plans with backup suppliers.
• Oversee incoming inspection controls, conduct supplier audits and visits, and maintain a documented supplier management process.
• Execute supplier re‑evaluation, develop monthly performance reports and analyse data from NCRs and audits.
• Manage the supplier NCR system, lead regular supplier meetings and drive issue resolution.
• Define operational requirements for new production introductions and collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, Operations and Compliance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical components and assemblies used in power distribution or related hardware.
