Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Our client, a developer of minimally invasive medical devices, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end material flow from supplier receipt through production issuance to finished‑goods delivery. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this senior leadership position ensures inventory continuity, supplier performance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Inventory & Warehouse Management – maintain optimal raw‑material and component stock levels, oversee receipt, storage, labeling, segregation and issuance, manage internal and external storage locations, and monitor reorder quantities, shelf life and expiry dates.
• Planning & Operations – collaborate with demand planning, production scheduling and quality assurance to align material availability with production demand, issue purchase orders, lead ERP master‑data accuracy and analytics, and support the S&OP process.
• Supplier Management – act as primary contact for designated suppliers, develop pricing and service agreements, monitor delivery performance, lead forecasting and corrective‑action activities, and mitigate supply‑chain risks.
• People Management – directly manage and develop the growing supply‑chain team, build relationships with customers, commercial and operations stakeholders, and ensure KPI targets such as OTIF and supplier performance are exceeded.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in materials, supply‑chain or inventory management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and supply‑chain master‑data management.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret supply‑chain data and drive informed decisions.
