Supply Chain Manager

About the role

This client‑facing Supply Chain Manager role is responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of supply chain operations in a regulated environment, primarily serving pharma or similar sectors. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high‑quality service and proactive problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary supply chain contact for a portfolio of clients, delivering consistent, responsive service.
• Lead client calls, present updates, explain operational decisions and propose solutions with clarity.
• Coordinate shipment execution and storage, including temperature‑controlled, time‑critical, and high‑risk products.
• Support shipping strategy decisions, courier selection, service‑level optimisation and risk mitigation.
• Monitor shipment performance, intervene to protect service levels and compliance.
• Participate in end‑to‑end supply chain planning cycles (S&OP/S&OE), aligning demand, supply and logistics.
• Investigate supply chain deviations, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Manage change controls affecting supply chain activities and ensure GDP compliance.
• Oversee vendor contracts, monitor courier and warehouse KPIs, and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end supply chain operations, preferably in a client‑service or outsourced environment.
• Familiarity with regulated sectors (pharma, medical devices) and Good Distribution Practice requirements.
• Experience with monthly planning cycles such as S&OP or S&OE.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate operational complexity into clear client communication.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven attitude.
