Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical company's Global Operations team in Dublin. You will own end‑to‑end supply chain activities across multiple markets, ensuring product availability and exceptional service for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end supply chain processes to guarantee uninterrupted product supply.
• Create and maintain purchase orders aligned with demand and operational needs.
• Develop rolling forecasts and communicate demand trends to manufacturing partners.
• Coordinate production schedules with contract manufacturers to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor order progress, delivery timelines, and inventory, resolving issues proactively.
• Support S&OP activities to align demand, supply, and production plans.
• Maintain accurate ERP data and supply chain records.
• Provide regular updates on order status, production schedules, and deliveries.
• Coordinate global shipments and logistics activities.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to strategic projects and operational initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supply chain or planning role.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare or life‑sciences sector.
• Knowledge of import/export processes and logistics operations (advantageous).
