Support and Software Consultant – German speaker

About the role

PlanetPlanet is looking for a bilingual Support and Software Consultant to assist our hospitality customers. You will provide technical support, install and maintain our software solutions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers and sales partners via phone and email.
• Plan, execute, and follow‑up on on‑site or remote software installations and maintenance.
• Maintain and update the ticketing system and knowledge base.
• Document work steps and solutions according to internal guidelines.
• Conduct user training sessions and create installation guides.
• Support sales teams with product presentations at trade shows and client meetings when needed.

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship or degree in Hospitality, IT, or a related field.
• Strong computer literacy and genuine interest in technology.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions and take responsibility.
• Clear communication style, friendly tone under pressure, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to travel as required.
