Systems Administrator (Azure) – Dublin South West

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Systems Administrator with solid Azure experience to join a growing Irish company in Dublin South West. Reporting to the Cloud Manager, you will support both on‑premises and cloud environments while providing technical assistance to internal staff and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support Windows Server infrastructure (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Design, deploy and manage Azure resources such as VMs, VNETs, Azure AD, storage, backup and RBAC.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support and troubleshoot issues across on‑prem and cloud platforms.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, and security in line with best practices.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule (one week in three) with appropriate compensation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure roles.
• Strong Windows Server administration skills (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Solid hands‑on experience with Azure services.
• Proficiency in PowerShell or Bash scripting.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, routing, protocols).
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities.
