Systems Administrator – IT Infrastructure & Cloud

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join a well‑established IT function supporting a dynamic professional services organisation in Dublin city centre. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing core infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and security systems across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server (2019+) environments on‑premise and in the cloud.
• Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Maintain SQL Server platforms and related databases.
• Provide networking support, including switching, routing, wireless, VPN, and AV meeting‑room systems.
• Oversee cybersecurity tools, endpoint protection, patching solutions, and firewalls.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, handle upgrades, deployments, and lifecycle management.
• Assist with security controls, audit reviews, access management, and infrastructure hardening.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Windows Server and Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL Server and enterprise networking.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and firewall technologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
