Tax Consultant – Advisory for Agrifood & SME Clients

About the role

Ifac is seeking experienced Tax Consultants to join its high‑performance tax team. You will work closely with the Head of Tax, partners and specialist groups to deliver expert tax advice to entrepreneurs building Ireland’s leading agrifood and SME businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive tax planning advice across all tax heads for privately owned businesses and partnerships.
• Lead succession planning and restructuring projects.
• Advise on property‑related transactions, including VAT implications.
• Support clients with tax compliance, optimisation and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in diverse, high‑impact tax projects and build strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a tax consultant or advisor.
• Client‑facing expertise with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior tax leaders and specialist teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes.
