About the role

Join English 1 in Indonesia for a one‑year adventure teaching English to children and teens aged 3‑18. No prior teaching experience or Bahasa knowledge is required – you will receive full training and support from a global network.

Key responsibilities

Deliver English lessons using English 1’s award‑winning multimedia curriculum.
Engage students in creative and interactive learning activities.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
Participate in school events and cultural activities.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Valid passport.
ESL/TEFL certification (sponsorship available through English 1).
Commitment to a minimum one‑year placement abroad.
