Team Leader – Financial Statement and Regulatory Reporting

About the role

Citco is seeking a Team Leader to oversee financial statement and regulatory reporting services for its fund clients. You will manage engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring high‑quality reporting under US GAAP and IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete financial and regulatory reporting engagements for CFS clients.
• Lead planning, budgeting, client relationship management and staff delegation.
• Provide training and guidance on US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Research and communicate recent authoritative pronouncements to the team and clients.
• Supervise a team of reporting staff, set goals, conduct performance evaluations and ensure thorough review of work.
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and audit firms.
• Identify new client opportunities and value‑added service enhancements.
• Write and review engagement reports and prepare ad‑hoc client reports.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions to continuously improve knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fund accounting.
• Hands‑on experience preparing financial statements for funds under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Proven experience leading a team of accountants or auditors.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for funds.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional designation (CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
