Team Leader – Motor & Home Insurance

About the role

Join Sedgwick as a Team Leader responsible for driving the daily performance of our Motor and Home insurance sales team. You will lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing group while ensuring service level agreements, sales targets and compliance standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership and clear communication to achieve SLA, sales and quality targets.
• Use data and insights to monitor performance, identify trends and inform decisions.
• Foster an inclusive, high‑performance team culture and act as the technical and process point of referral.
• Conduct performance reviews, set targets and support career progression.
• Monitor and resolve complaints in line with CPC guidelines.
• Collaborate with Motor and Home leadership to produce management information and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement process efficiencies, improve customer journeys and increase team efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in a customer service role.
• Previous team lead or people‑management experience.
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• APA qualification (essential).
• Motor insurance experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
