Technical Project Manager – Lead Complex Tech Initiatives

About the role

Our client, a leading professional services organisation, is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive the delivery of complex technology initiatives. You will work in a collaborative, hybrid environment, managing strategic projects and engaging senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale technical projects, ensuring scope, timeline and quality targets are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, governance structures and delivery roadmaps.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and budget variances.
• Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, providing clear communication and regular updates.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, third‑party suppliers and delivery partners.
• Facilitate governance meetings and report progress to senior leadership and steering committees.
• Promote project‑management best practices, standards and continuous improvement.
• Ensure project outcomes align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience managing large‑scale technical projects in enterprise environments.
• Proven track record delivering complex technology transformation or systems‑integration programmes.
• Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies and programme lifecycle management.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, risks, issues and resource planning.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decisions across technical and business teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
• Capability to work across multiple workstreams while maintaining a strategic view.
