Technical Systems Specialist

About the role

Our client relies on robust IT systems to reach consumers nationwide. The Technical Systems Specialist will support the delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business applications, acting as a bridge between internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support integrations, API‑based services, and cloud‑hosted applications.
• Collaborate with third‑party developers on requirements, documentation, testing, and release preparation.
• Assist with version control, code reviews, and system documentation.
• Develop internal tools or utilities to improve operational efficiency.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex system, software, and workflow issues.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and support during peak periods or critical incidents.
• Coordinate technology projects using structured project‑management approaches, capturing requirements and monitoring risks.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing, log issues, and support user‑acceptance testing.
• Leverage AI tools for documentation, analysis, troubleshooting, and identify automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Relevant third‑level degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a software, systems, or application‑focused IT role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, and cloud applications.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and release management.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
