About the role

The Technician II ensures uninterrupted operation of customer infrastructure within a data‑center environment. You will provide remote‑hands support, handle cross‑connects, and assist with customer implementations while maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide technical customer support and execute remote‑hands requests, including equipment migration, labeling, installation, testing and emergency troubleshooting.
  • Perform special maintenance tasks such as simple repairs, equipment exchanges and technical measurements.
  • Support migration and implementation activities, set up and de‑install cross‑connects, and draft MOPs, Change Requests and EOPs.
  • Execute reporting and administration in internal systems, ensure compliance with policies and conduct risk assessments.
  • Lead and mentor Level I Technicians, make technical decisions within site guidelines, and foster a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in telecommunications, IT or electrotechnical environments.
  • Strong understanding of structured network infrastructure and industry measurement tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
