Technology Risk & Resilience Manager (Second Line)

About the role

MUFG Investor Services is seeking an experienced Technology Risk & Resilience Manager to join its second‑line risk function in London, United Kingdom or Dublin, Ireland. The role provides independent oversight and challenge of technology risk, ensuring it is fully integrated into the firm’s overall risk management framework and aligned with regulatory expectations such as DORA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent second‑line oversight of Technology Risk (IT & Information Security) and challenge first‑line risk identification, assessment and reporting.
• Define and embed Technology Risk within the Operational Risk taxonomy, clarifying 1LOD vs 2LOD accountability.
• Assess the alignment of the Technology Risk Management Framework with first‑line controls, including third‑party risk, IT controls and cybersecurity.
• Support the development of a service‑based view of technology risk by reviewing application, infrastructure and third‑party mappings.
• Review the quality and completeness of Technology Risk Registers, control inventories, incident remediation activities and impact analyses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology risk management, preferably within a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of second‑line risk oversight, regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA) and third‑party risk.
• Ability to provide credible challenge, analytical insight and clear communication to senior stakeholders.
