Telecoms Engineer – Data Center SME (Remote)

About the role

Arcadis is looking for a Telecoms Engineer to act as a Data Center Subject Matter Expert. The role is fully remote and will support a major Big‑Tech client on datacenter projects, covering due‑diligence, detailed design and construction administration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of datacenter designs from pre‑programming through to hand‑over to operations.
• Review and coordinate design documents, provide technical input and decision‑making during site due‑diligence and construction phases.
• Manage internal and external resources, including architecture and engineering consultants, to ensure designs meet client and site‑specific requirements.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule and budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Professional Engineer registration.
• Minimum 10 years of consulting engineering experience and at least 5 years in a lead engineer, lead architect or design manager role.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in fast‑paced environments.
