Transcon Agent – Logistics Operations

About the role

Expeditors is seeking a Transcon Agent to support the smooth flow of freight operations. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely shipments and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Enter data accurately and promptly into the operational system.
• Track and trace Transcon files, generate reports, and ensure client and vendor billing is correct.
• Coordinate freight delivery and clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers to arrange shipments that meet service standards.
• Build and sustain good relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Respond quickly to network communications, emails, and requests.
• Meet KPI standards as defined by company policy.
• Understand customer procedures and keep internal DLSOPs up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of related experience or equivalent education.
• Understanding of ocean documentation processes is a plus.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Pro‑active attitude with strong organizational abilities.
• Fluent English.
• Hazardous Materials certification preferred.
