Weekend Healthcare Assistant – €18/hour

About the role

Join our dedicated weekend team as a Healthcare Assistant, providing essential home care to adults who need long‑term or complex support. You will work directly in clients' homes, delivering personal care and promoting independence while enjoying a stable weekend roster.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and home support according to individual care plans.
• Promote clients' dignity, independence, and well‑being.
• Maintain accurate daily care notes and report any changes in condition.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and the wider care team.

Required profile

• Caring, dependable, and motivated to deliver excellent care.
• Working toward QQI Level 5 with Care Skills and Care of the Older Person modules completed.
• Valid People Moving & Handling Certificate.
• Full EU driver’s licence and own a car (essential).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Available to work every Saturday and Sunday.
• Willing to provide work and character references and complete Garda Vetting (fee covered).
