Zero Emissions Buildings Instructor

About the role

The Zero Emissions Buildings Instructor will join Mosart’s specialist team to deliver high‑impact training on zero‑emissions and high‑performance building practices. Based in Enniscorthy, the role involves creating and delivering both on‑site and online courses for apprentices, designers, contractors and the wider public.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update course materials, lesson plans and practical exercises covering building envelope, energy systems and indoor environmental quality.
• Facilitate in‑person workshops, seminars and classroom sessions as well as virtual training events.
• Tailor content to diverse learner needs, provide clear guidance, and assess progress through assignments, tests or hands‑on tasks.
• Collaborate with Mosart experts to keep curricula aligned with the latest standards and certifications.
• Contribute technical resources and, when required, support consulting projects that intersect with training activities.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or professional experience in architecture, engineering, building science or sustainability.
• Proven experience delivering technical instruction to adult or youth audiences, preferably in construction or related fields.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple courses and cohorts.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Enniscorthy and Waterford and to engage with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
