Accounts Receivable Assistant (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our finance team in Dublin. This full‑time permanent position operates on a hybrid model, combining office presence with remote work. You will play a key part in maintaining the health of our cash flow by ensuring invoices are issued accurately and payments are collected on time.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue customer invoices promptly and follow up on outstanding amounts.
• Monitor receivables, reconcile customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Track overdue balances, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on receivables and support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Provide data for management reporting, KPIs, and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Serve as the primary contact for billing queries, collaborating with finance and operations.
• Support process improvements, ensure policy compliance, and assist with audits or ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Member of Accounting Technician Ireland (MIATI) with at least two years of practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to work effectively within a team.
• Desirable: studying towards ACCA, CPA or CIMA qualification and four years of progressive experience.
