Assistant Accommodation Manager

About the role

The Diamond Coast Hotel is seeking an Assistant Accommodation Manager to support the Accommodation Manager in delivering high‑quality guest experiences at our 99‑room luxury property overlooking Enniscrone golf course and beaches.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Accommodation Manager in daily operations and team leadership.
• Maintain and regularly review quality standards to meet evolving customer expectations.
• Promote fair and consistent team relations and adhere to HR procedures.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends, recommending service improvements.
• Prepare weekly rosters aligned with business needs.
• Conduct daily briefings to ensure clear communication within the department.
• Uphold high hygiene standards throughout the accommodation area.
• Implement and act on a comprehensive customer feedback system.
• Oversee upkeep of equipment, furniture, and fittings with a preventative maintenance schedule.
• Manage stock control systems for the department.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Organised, efficient and able to work flexibly.
• Proactive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.
