Food & Beverage Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic restaurant team. Working Monday to Friday from 6 am onward, you will help ensure smooth food and beverage operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient, prompt, and courteous service to restaurant guests.
• Accurately record orders, serve food and beverages, and process guest checks.
• Handle compliments and complaints, reporting them to management.
• Arrange furniture, maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation, and ensure mise‑en‑place is ready.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, wine and beer lists, and advise guests to promote additional sales.
• Assist supervisors with set‑ups, reservations, and room‑service operations.
• Comply with all alcohol and liquor policies and regulations.
• Update the communication logbook each shift and attend required meetings and training.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Proven experience supporting meetings and events.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork, a positive attitude, and dedication to exceeding guest expectations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
