Banking Business Analyst – Hybrid, Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a Banking Business Analyst to join our client’s team in Dublin on a hybrid basis. The role involves bridging business needs with technical solutions within the banking domain, ensuring that functional requirements are captured, analysed, and delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business users to define scope, understand processes, and identify pain points.
• Document business requirements, process flows, BRDs, user stories, and discussion logs using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, MS Visio and Blueworks.
• Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to design feasible solutions and maintain a Requirement Traceability Matrix.
• Support quality assurance by reviewing test cases and assist in client UAT.
• Identify stakeholders, conduct risk analysis, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Research and recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong background in the banking sector with knowledge of lending, deposits, liabilities and payments.
• Experience in core banking system implementations is a plus.
• Proven ability to run workshops, manage multiple stakeholder expectations and drive decision‑making.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments.
